In case you didn’t know, it is that time of the year again. Next month ( April 10-12), we will be in NYC again attending the Dominican Student Conference. We’ve been attending this event every year since day one and it has always been a great networking event. The conference will take place at City University of New York. If you are in the area, be sure to drop by and show us some love and specially take a minute or two to see the amazing workshops the students put together year after year.

We’ll set up on Saturday and will be there the entire day serving the Dominican and Latino community with a lot of new and exclusive t-shirts as
well as our classics.

Here are some pictures of last year’s event. Enjoy!

As many time as I have heard folks tell me that “hard work pays”, It doesn’t really sink in until you get an unexpected email from my good friend Richard Liriano (What’s Up Rich?) showing you shots like “deez”. Jessy Torrero is a powerhouse film producer who has worked with a list of dynamic artist from Ludacris and 50 cent to Aventura, Enrique Iglesias and Wisin & Yandel.  We connected a few weeks ago shortly after he picked up a couple of deezshirts and as promised, here are some pics.

These are pictures of a Video shoot for the song “Mujeres In The Club” by Wisin and Yandel in Brooklyn, New York. Thanks Jessy for supporting DeezShirts.

We are here now!  I have been fan of Tony (NYC Artist/Innovator/Creative Mind) and The Peralta Project for a very long time and I feel very strongly about the messages that he is constantly creating. So, it was only right for us to come together and for DeezShirts to embrace his work and provide you all with it through our site.

Por fin! (finally!) A Barack Obama t-shirt for Latinos. Deez Obama t-shirts were made out of pure hope and belief. As many Latinos are standing behind Barack Obama hoping that change will come soon, we’ve been inspired to create a t-shirt that would express how a great majority of Latinos feel about Obama.

Latinos Unidos Con Obama! (Latinos United with Obama).
Enough said!

david_ortiz_manny_ramirez_deezshirts.jpg

I texted everyone in the “world” I could:

“A year a go, cant remember where I was going (but my boy told me I had a vision)…right now, I found myself at David Ortiz’s house playing Dominos, drinking Presidentes (Dominican Beer). Man I am so lucky… I am so Grateful. Thank you all for everything.”

I was sitting on the side lines after David’s brother and my good friend Hector (Hector,I owe you) laid a good old ass “woop” on David and I in our first Domino match. Then came Manny, Lugo and Papelbon…what a riot.

Earlier, while David talked about life he said to me: “Mire, yo te voy a decir algo, el que madruga Dios le ayuda, el que trabaja duro, todo lo puede” ( simple translation: “Look, I tell you something, God helps those that endure long night of hard work. Everything is possible with hard work.) So true. I sat there, thinking to myself, hard work does pay and it is so well worth it at the end of it all.

This is so overwhelming, in a good way that is. A dream that I sure don’t want to wake up from. “Lifetime Redsox Ticket Holders” couldn’t get seats this good.

Thank you, to every single one of you that ever lend a hand.

My friends went “loco” about them so I decided to put them on the site. Being that DeezShirts is originally from Boston, it was only right for us to create deez. Sorry L.A., we still got love ya’ll… What up Cali?

What up…
